Martin Wootton is a fully qualified funeral director with over 40 years’ experience in the profession.  He started in 1978 when at the age of 16 and following the death of his father he made the decision that he wanted to provide family’s with the care and support he had been shown following a bereavement.  Martin is keen to recreate the former dignity and decorum of funerals in the past where each person is a name and not just a number. Martin holds the Diploma of Funeral Directing and is a member of the British institute of Embalmers.

Martin has worked all over the UK and Ireland and has a wealth of experience to deal with all types of bereavement and set up his own business in 2007 after seeing many local companies bought by national chains.

Both of Martins premises consists of peaceful private Chapels of Rest, spacious reception areas and arranging rooms, with facilities for the disabled.
